Skillset

Web sites are successfully created using a combination of Web Standards (HTML, CSS and XML) and Server Side Scripting Technologies. My preferred JavaScript library is jQuery. If I work in a Microsoft environment I prefer to work with SQL Server, C# and 'Classic' ASP while in an open source environment I will work with Perl, MySQL and PHP. I recommend and use Wordpress as an open source CMS solution and I have often been asked to build sites or templates for this.

Web and Print Layouts will be mocked up firstly using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator. If required, the creative is then setup inside InDesign based on printer specifications. For printed materials, the finalised artwork is lastly exported into EPS or PDF format and is submitted to the printers on your behalf.

I am also able to offer assistance with domain name registration, transfer and I can offer assistance in how to regain control of a 'hijacked' or squattered domain name. GWdesign has established a partnership with two of Australia's premium web hosting providers and I can assist with the hosting of your site in Australia or the USA, depending on your needs and budget.
